Developing a product. From an idea to a working product.
We will teach you cost-effective, time-efficient techniques and business services that will make all the difference when launching a new idea. With 29 years developing and testing products, we have learned that spending millions of dollars and years developing a product does not need to happen. In most cases you can spend thousands or just hundreds and have your finished product done within the year. It’s not just about the product, it’s about you, your mind set and your willingness to make the product successful. Most products never get past this stage and many people go broke. What you will learn is why inventors and companies make mistakes during product development and how not to repeat other companies’ mistakes, well learning the best techniques well developing a product.
Developing a finished product
From working product to finished packaging ready for market; we will talk about shelf real estate vs. packaging size, colors, branding, carton and master packs and container loading. Your will learn how to know if your product meets all the criteria for being on the shelf and develop your packaging so in your first buyers meeting you close your deal.
Testing your product in the market
You can spend tens or hundreds of thousands testing your product with consulting companies. Doing this can cause a heavy overhead on the product and in some cases cause you to run out of money and your new idea goes nowhere. Some companies and entrepreneurs just don’t test at all. This is why you see so many products on sale in national retail stores that are just not selling and this is why we have so many discount stores that have great products; they have purchased them off companies who were unsuccessful taking their product to the market. There’s no need to plan to fail; with the right tools and knowledge you can maximize your chance of success.
How would you like to know early on in the development stage if you have a winning product? How about getting professional feed back for under a $100 or for free? In this course we will show you our business system, techniques and proprietary product testing applications that will give you a clear picture that you’re putting successful before you put money (Sue we have to create this app at some point)
Marketing Avenues
With over hundreds of techniques that can be used with hundreds of combinations
With the 30+ different marketing avenues it can be confusing to know what to do. Many people default into selling into the basic selling avenues that they know. Sometimes the success of a product is in the marketing avenue, knowing which one is right for your product/s is where it’s good to have the best education, business system and tools to help you to do it right.
Branding
We will take an in-depth look at branding, logos, colors, and the psychology techniques you will need to tap into your audience. Building a brand can be costly, and unless you know how to build your brand on a dime, we will show you how. An in-depth look at branding and what works and what doesn’t and how to become an expert in building a great brand within your market. Understanding branding in your market, what will it cost to compete, and when to move forward or back out and dump the idea.
New face of PR
PR, Public Relations, has been looked at as a hard sell for those in the field and in these days ever harder. Social Media has strongly affected PR firms making it harder for them to sell their services. Most PR companies will not give you a value on investment. As the new face of PR, we will examine the best PR firms to work with and why, along with how to communicate with them to maximize your PR dollars. We give you the tools and knowledge to communicate as an expert, combined with the right tools maximize your pockets within the logistics department.

Almost everything you do leads up to this moment, you in front of national buyers showing your goods. Learn what to do and what not to do. What to bring, how to present yourself and your product. Gain the knowledge you need to have before walking into the room. You do not want to blow it with your buyer because you might not get a second chance. We will show you how you can make that first buyers meeting a real success.
Getting your product on TV
Due the production cost and airtime the difference with TV products is that they require higher margins than retail. This means the price between manufacturers and the retail price is larger. Though the margin is high the product must have a value even greater than the listed price on TV. Our goal is to educate you on what products are right for TV, which infomercials are best for your product and how to get them on TV without putting out a lot of money.
